MFCC to build Temple

Accra, March 8, GNA – The Miracle Family Christian Centre (MFCC) at Madina near Accra is to put up a Church building complex at a cost of one billion cedis.

The project would be financed through voluntary contribution and fund-raising activities.

Reverend Bernard Mensah Adams, General Overseer of the Church, announced these at the sod cutting to commence work on the project. He said the Church, which was established in 1989 at the Acquaye Memorial School moved to the Royal Cinema Hall in Accra, went through many obstacles and by the Grace of God has finally acquired a piece of land at Ritz junction in Madina where the temple would be put up. Rev. Dr Mensah Otabil, General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), who cut the sod to begin work called on Christian to open a new chapter by refraining from acts, which hinders national development.

He attributed the socio-economic woes of the nation to the “mad rush” for monetary gains instead of seeking the spiritual development of mankind and charged Christians to lead exemplary life for their children to emulate.

The church when completed would be named “The Glory Temple.
