Another metro mass bus catches fire 4 days after Kasoa incident

Another Metro Mass Bus has burnt in the Afram Plains district of the Eastern region.

The bus conveying about forty passengers from Donkorkrom, Kwahu Afram Plains North District capital to Nkawkaw got burnt on its way in a village called Odumasua close to Tease.

It took the intervention of personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service to quench the fire. No casualty was recorded as the passengers on board the bus escaped unhurt. Meanwhile, the cause of fire is unknown.

A similar incident happened in Kasoa some few days ago where another Metro Mass Bus caught fire.

The bus with registration number GR 5182-15 was completely burnt by fire on Wednesday, March 22.

The fire on the Cape Coast-bound bus started when the vehicle got to Opeikuma junction and the 35 passengers on bound had to alight to escape the heat. It took the intervention of personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) to douse the inferno.
