Trouble brews in NPP over DCE position

Even before president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo nominates a District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Salaga East District of the Northern region, a group comprising some polling station executives have vowed to rise up in arms against some two names bandied around.

According to the group, some faceless individuals within the party are fronting for one Mohammed Tamimu and Alhassan Abdulah Iddi for the position but indicate that both have not given a good account of themselves to merit the position.

In a petition through the Northern Regional minister Salifu Saeed to the President, they cited other reasons why they are objecting to the appointment of the two.
