The Times in a front page story headlined: “Candidates to mount platform May 11”, says the Electoral Commission (EC) will mount platform for candidates in both the Unit Committee and District Assembly elections throughout the country from May 11 to 21.

“Africa moves to have its debts cancelled”, is the headline of another front page story in the Times. The story says Jubilee 2000 Coalition, a UK-based global movement of international, national and local organisations, has taken a bold step towards a campaign to get Africa’s debts cancelled.
