Chaos alert: NPP youth to defy Tamale police

Chaos is looming in the Northern regional capital Tamale as the youth of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) are bent on defying an order from the police in the region not to stage a counter protest.

The police, Starr News gathered, asked the youth belonging to the infamous Kandahar Boys to suspend their demonstration in view of another by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) scheduled for today, Tuesday March 21, 2017.

But the Kandahar Boys who stormed the Northern regional police headquarters repudiated the call by the police, vowing to go ahead unless the NDC youth also call off theirs.

“We have decided to go on with our demonstration that’s if theirs is coming on,” said Abdul Hack Zakaria, the spokesperson of the Kandadahar Boys.
