NPP youth demand resignation of executives

Youth of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Effiduasi/Asokore Constituency of the Ashanti region are piling up pressure on nine constituency executives to abdicate their positions or risk incurring their wrath in the coming days.

According to the aggrieved youth, the executives are fuelling divisions within the party and their continued stay is likely to result in bloodbath between various factions they have succeeded in creating within the party.

The youth claim the constituency chairman and some other nine executive members triggered divisions nearly resulted in fisticuffs at an executive meeting literally turning the venue into a boxing ring.

They accused them of presenting a candidate who is not accepted by residents as s DCE for the despite a petition to appoint someone as a DCE of the Sekyere East District from Asokore.

Frank Obeng Gyimah, Seth Baffoe and Clement Opoku who are leading the youth want the executives give way to more competent hands to manage the affairs of the party in the constituency.
