West Blue collaborates with Ghana@60 committee to setup 60 e-libraries

The technical support providers of the customs division of the Ghana Revenue Authority in the implementation of the Ghana National Single Window, West blue consulting has partnered the Ghana@60 committee to establish 60 electronic libraries (e-libraries) in 60 selected deprived communities in the country.

The brick and mortar, container, and mobile van libraries under the project will be equipped with internet enabled computers and laptops, among others.

Speaking at the Ghana @ 60 library media lunch, the Chief Executive Officer of West Blue Consulting, Valentina Mintah said as an ICT solutions company, West blue believes that the Ghana@60 library programme will ensure that the marginalised groups in the areas will be empowered with knowledge to participate fully and actively in society.

The Minister of Education Mathew Opoku Prempeh commended West Blue for the bold initiative and urged other companies to emulate the gesture.

He stated that the libraries will go a long way to improve the level of education in the country.
