Akufo-Addo, Wife and Bawumia awarded at Ghana@60 Unity Ball

It was a night of glitz and glamour with representatives of the various sectors of the economy present at the Ghana Unity Ball 2017, an awards ceremony that formed part of activities to mark Ghana’s 60th Anniversary.

Amidst musical performances, dancing and wining, Ghanaians who have excelled in varying roles to enhance the development of the country were honoured at the Unity Ball event.

President Nana Akufo-Addo, his wife, Rebecca Akufo-Addo and Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia were among a tall list of persons who received awards on the night.

Also, political parties such as the governing New Patriotic Party, the largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress, and Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom’s Progressive People’s Party were all honoured for their roles in ensuring a rather vibrant and balanced political landscape in the country.
