A 16 year old Junior High School Student of Child of Hope Preparatory School at Akyem Osiem, Barbra Asante has committed suicide.
The deceased was found hanging in the Kitchen of her parents house at Akyem Tafo on Tuesday.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Akyem Tafo Hospital Morgue.
An eye witness told Kasapa News, the deceased was noticed missing in the house on Tuesday, which was a holiday for pupils in Ghana. A searching for her whereabout by the mother proved futile, however, she was later found hanging in the kitchen when the mother was about to cook food for the family.
The Police was later notified and after taking inventories at the crime scene, deposited the body at the morgue while investigation continue.
Tattling information gathered indicate that, the deceased had complaint that she was seeing strange creatures following her and it is believed that compelled her to kill herself.
The devastated family of the deceased is currently assisting police to investigate the incident and are yet to make official statement on the incident.
