Both NDC and NPP are thieves, I won’t work with them – Kofi Wayo

Outspoken Politician and founder of the defunct United Renaissance Party (URP) Chuck Kofi Wayo has explicitly stated his unwillingness to work with the country’s two largest political parties, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The former board member the Energy Commission said functionaries of both parties are thieves and therefore does not see why he should join forces with any of them when their priority is just to loot state coffers.

Mr. Wayo said Ghanaians are too obsessed with political parties that they sometimes fail to hold their leaders accountable for either promises they make or falsehood they peddle to win their support blaming the conduct of politicians to the citizens themselves.

“Both NDC and NPP do not have the nation at heart. All they want is to enrich them at the expense of the poor Ghanaian and when it is election time they come and speak big grammar and we will still vote for them. Never! I cannot work with the NPP and NDC….they are all thieves”, he disclosed on Kumasi-based Abusua Fm.

Kofi Wayo it would recalled said he was not willing to vote during last year’s elections because the two major contending parties were first cousins who were only interest in amassing wealth for themselves.
