Kwesi Agyemang Busia is new DVLA CEO

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Kwesi Agyemang Busia as the Chief Executive Officer of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA).

A letter dated 28 February 2017 announcing the appointment said: “Pursuant to section 13(2) of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority Act 1999 (ACT 569), I hereby appoint you as Chief Executive of the Authority, pending receipt of the constitutionally required advice of the governing council of the Authority, given in consultation with the Public Services Commission.”

“I take this opportunity to congratulate you formally on your appointment.

“Kindly indicate your acceptance or otherwise of this appointment.”
