8-year-old school boy crashed to death by biker

An 8-year-old primary pupil of one of the basic schools at Ekye Amnfrom in the Afram Plains South District of the Eastern region was on Tuesday afternoon crashed to death by a biker.

The deceased who was returning from school, was run over by the biker who refused to stop for fear he could be lynched until he was given a hot chase and arrested by angry residents who handed him over to the police.

A local reporter Bright Gadeka who spoke to mynewsgh.com about the unfortunate incident, said the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Ekye clinic while the suspect had been smuggled out of the town by police because angry residents nearly lynched him.

“He was returning from school when the motor rider knocked him down but he did not stop. We chased and arrested him. As we speak he is with the police”, he revealed.
