British High Commission Announces New Visa Fees

The British High Commission would charge new visa fees from March 1 2004, a release made available to the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday said the following fees would be charged:

Standard Visa 620,000 cedis

Student Standard 628,000 cedis

Transit Standard 628,000 cedis

Direct Airside Transit Visa 471,000

1 Year Visa 1,046,000

2 Year Visa 1,220,000

5 Year Visa 1,534,000

10Year Visa 2,615,000

Settlement 4,532,000

Returning Resident 628,000

Long Term 1,307,000

GV3 523,000

The release said “we also take this opportunity to remind the general public that the British High Commission only accepts Barclays Bank Drafts as payment for visa fees and that the Visa Section is open from 7.00 am to 10.45 am from Monday to Thursday and closed to the public on Fridays”.
