Some aggrieved residents of Trede in the Atwima Kwanwoma constituency have vowed to stage a naked demonstration against the what they called a self-acclaimed queen mother of the area, Obaahema Adwobi Kete.
They are accusing Obaahema Adwobi Kete of choosing the wrong person as the chief of the community`.
At a press conference on Thursday, the spokesman for the aggrieved residents Mr. Owusu Agyemang disclosed that, they said queen mother does not respect the elders of the community, hence choosing someone outside the royal family after her failure to consult the kingmakers of the community.
He called on the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to take proactive measures against the queen mother for her unlawful act before things get out of hands.
The queen mother has declined comment on the matter when reached indicating that she is yet to meet with the elders who have instigated the youth against her.
