Kofi Adams sues Obiri Boahene, Abronye DC et al

National Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Kofi Adams has filed a suit against the Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Obiri Boahene, Brong Ahafo Youth Organiser Kwame Baffoe a.k.a Abronye DC and a Member of the NPP’s Communication team David Asante for causing damages to his reputation.

Mr Adams is praying the court to cause the defendants to compensate him each with GHC1,000.000.00.

In the statement of claims, he said the defendants repeatedly on the airwaves made scandalous comments about him.

Mr Adams’ vehicles purported to have belonged to the State were seized by some national security capos but later the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) after its investigations returned the cars to him.

‘The defendants alleged and their said defamatory statements meant and were naturally and ordinarily understood by right-thinking members of society to mean Plaintiff was involved in criminal or improper acts like fraudulent business,’ it said.
