Lawlessness shrouded Akufo-Addo’s first month as president – CPP

The Convention people’s party has described the one month of Akufo-Addo’s presidency as lawless.

The Acting general secretary of the Party, Yaw Aseni Tannoh, made this assessment public on Ahotor 92.3 FM’s morning show on Wednesday 15th February 2017 anchored by Mr. Emmanuel Kwashie.

The CPP is of the opinion that happenings with regards to censures of private cars from former government appointees and dismissals of some civil servants, whose appointment happened during the era of the previous government, were most unfortunate, to say the least.

He asserted that these are lawlessness and they must stop immediately.

He intimated that these acts have grossly tainted the first month of the government thereby giving them negative tagging.

He, therefore, urged the government to immediately put measures in place to halt the ongoing lawlessness.
