Police recruits must sue Government. – Hon. Ofosu Ampofo

The vice chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon.
Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, has decried the decision of government and the
police administration to cancel ongoing police recruitment. He has
urged human right lawyers to show kindness to the affected victims and
take a class action against the government in court.

He made this remarks on Ahotor 92.3 FM’s 360 politics with Akyena
Brantuo on Friday 10th February 2017.

He lamented the unfair manner that these young Ghanaians have been
treated. And further stated that what this government and the police
service have done is motivated purely by political considerations.

He further said that the police service leadership must resign for
such crass in incompetence.

The former board chairman of the Ghana Ports and Habour Authority
insist that the said action is an attack on corporate governance.

He stated his disappointed in the Ghana police and stated that the
coup mentality that takes place after a transition of a government
should be discouraged.
