LIVESTREAMING: Probe into Parliamentary bribery scandal

The Committee setup by parliament to probe into the alleged bribery of the minority side of the Appointments Committee commences today.

Bawku Central MP and member of the Appointments Committee raised red flags over some money given to him by the minority Chief Whip, Muntaka Mubarak alleging that it was bribe from Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko.

This allegation has been rubbished by Boakye Agyarko and Chairman of the Appointments Committee Joe Osei Owusu whose name has also been mentioned in the saga.

Mahama Ayariga’s assertions has been buttressed by his colleague MPs on the minority side, Alhassan Suhuyini and Okudzeto Ablakwa.

The Committee has been tasked to get to the bottom of the brouhaha and reveal the truth as it is.
