LIVESTREAMING: ‘Newsfile’ on JoyNews

This week’s edition of Newsfile will focus on the two minority MPs decision to challenge the approval of Otiko Afisa Djaba as Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection in court. Their decision to go to court stems from her disclosure during vetting that she did not undertake her national service because she had travelled out of the country.

Other issues that will also dominate are the $20m budget estimated as cost for the celebration of Ghana at 60. Is there another claim of plagiarism as many people have questioned the authenticity of the logo for the celebration.

The saga of the 200 missing cars from Flagstaff House and the seizure of some suspected stolen cars from members of the erstwhile administration will be discussed. The discussion will also cover the suggestion that the lack of vehicles have forced the President , Akufo-Addo to use his private for long distance.
