Drogba calls on Akufo-Addo

Former Chelsea and Ivory Coast star Didier Drogba has visited President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the seat of government, the Flag Staff House, on Friday February, 10.

The purpose of the Ivorian’s visit was to hold private discussions with Mr Akufo-Addo.

Drogba scored 157 goals in 341 appearances for the Blues in his first spell at the club, winning the UEFA Champions League with the London club in 2012. He returned to the club for a year in 2014 and netted seven goals in 40 games.

Mr Akufo-Addo wrote on his Facebook page: “A few minutes ago, the Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba, paid me a surprise visit at the Presidency.”
