Ebenezer Cooperative Credit Union adjudged the best in Techiman

Techiman (B/A), Feb. 12, GNA- Ebenezer Cooperative Credit Union has been adjudged the leading credit union in the Techiman municipality in Brong Ahafo.

The union made enough profit and acquired good quality assets, thereby meeting the Credit Union Association’s (CUA) standard. Mr James Okyere, Techiman Municipal Cooperative Officer, announced this when he conducted elections for the Board of Directors of the union at Techiman.

The elected members were Mr A.A. Yeboah, Chairman, Madam Kate Antwi, Vice-Chairperson, Mr Adom Frempah, secretary, Mr Armstrong Fordjour, treasurer and Mr Emmanuel Osei-Wusu, Emmanuel Duodo, Madam Mercy Adjei, members.

Mr Okyere commended the union for its sterling performance and urged the new board to work hard enough to maintain its record. Mr M.K. Owusu, out-going Chairman, urged the new board to fraternize with the media to maintain the standard set and to be committed to their work for the growth of the union.

Mr Oppong Manu, Brong Ahafo Regional Cooperative Officer, who inducted the new board into office, advised them to be fair to every member.

Mr Yeboah thanked members for the confidence reposed in them and pledged that they would work hard to justify their election. 12 Feb 04
