I miss my new baby – JB’s Killer

A prime suspect in the murder of a former Abuakwa North legislator J.B Danquah Adu is appealing to the court to allow him see his newly born baby.

Suspect Daniel Asiedu was arrested at the time her girlfriend was reported to be pregnant and has since given birth for which reason he is requesting the court’s permission to see the face of the newly born.

It is unclear if the court will grant his request but the prosecutor in the murder case Superintendent Francis Baah has told an Accra Magistrate Court on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, that suspect Daniel Asiedu concerns of food has since been addressed.

The suspect at the last sitting requested the court to permit his family to bring him food after he complained that the food he was eating in detention was woefully inadequate.

The trial judge Ebenezer Kwaku Ansah ordered the prosecutors to speed up with the bail of the indictment and subsequently adjourned the case to February 15, 2017.

Mr Danquah Adu was murdered and later found by the police lying in a pool of blood in his bedroom at his Shiashie residence in the national capital, Accra.

His assailant(s) got access to him through his front window on an upper floor via a ladder. He was survived by a wife and two children.
