Rawlings’ Subpoena Not In Connection With Judges Murder

The National Reconciliation Commission says a subpoena to ex-president Jerry John Rawlings to appear before it, to give evidence, is not in connection with the murder of the three High Court Judges.

The Executive Secretary of the Commission, Dr. Kenneth Agyemang Attafuah told Peace FM on Monday that, Rawlings’ subpoena is in relation to a different case in which his name was mentioned by a witness.

Dr. Attafuah however declined to state the matter in which the ex-president name was mentioned, for reasons that the ex-president has not yet been served with the subpoena.

According to Dr. Attafuah, Ex-president Rawlings’ testimony will not be heard in camera, because his statements will not pose any security threat.
