NPP Parliamentary group on Works and Housing commends President.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) caucus on Works and Housing has lauded the President on his handling of the Ampofo report on the Keta Sea Defence Project. Mr. Kwamena Bartels said that the President’s action is in consonance with the declaration of the year as a year of discipline. However, the group thinks the action did not go far enough, since some very senior officials have been left off the hook while others lower in rank have been victimized. Mr. Bartels said the party is happy to have saved the nation billions of cedis and promised that the minority in Parliament would put pressure on every quarter to ensure that the Keta Sea Defence project is undertaken.
