Black American political leaders and entrepreneurs from New York are expected to pay a week’s investment exploration tour of Ghana in March. They will meet government officials and local entrepreneurs to discuss investment opportunities and participate in Ghana’s 41st independence anniversary celebrations. They include Mr. Albert Vann, Democratic Assemblyman of the New York State and chairman of the State Assembly Committee on Corporations and Commissions, Mr. Earl Johnson and Mr. Freddie Hamilton, both Assembly members. Briefing newsmen at the Airport, Mr. Daniel Kissi Adjabeng, Chairman of the Anidaso Association of Pankese, said the visit is in line with the cherished dream of the group to identify itself with the rich cultural heritage of Ghana. The visit will be part of the celebration of “Black History month” and the group will visit places of historical interest including Elimina and Cape Coast Castles, Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and the W.E.B. Dubois Centre in Accra.
