50 Church of Pentecost members involved in fatal accident

A Yutong bus carrying 50 members of the Church of Pentecost, Mount Zion Assembly, travelling from Kumasi to Accra after a funeral was involved in an accident yesterday evening between the hours of 8-9pm near a town called Awutu Breku after bursting a tyre.

According to one of the survivors on board, the bus caught fire immediately after one of its back tyres got burst.

Luckily, no one on board the vehicle got injured.

By the timely intervention of the people nearby they managed to quench the fire before personnel from the Ghana fire service arrived at the scene.
