Mahama gets cold reception and Rawlings gets cheers as they greet Otumfuo

Former Presidents John Mahama and Jerry John Rawlings on Tuesday 17th January 2017 joined dignitaries at the Manhyia Palace to mark the funeral rites for the late queen, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II.

Dignitaries present paid their respects to Otumfuo by greeting him as he mourned the death of his mother.

When it got to the turn of Mr. Rawlings, people hailed him as he greeted Otumfuo but same wasn’t done for Mahama.

Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II died at the age of 111 and was buried on January 19 in Breman.
