Acting Editor of Daily Telegraph dies in gory accident

Acting editor of Daily Telegraph Bismark Bebli is reported dead after he was hit by a car in front of Kasoa police station in the central region.

According to an eye witness, the accident occurred around 1:15pm today after a ‘trotro’ car with registration number GE 8252–12 loaded from Kasoa heading towards Awutu Breku failed brakes and ran over the journalist and a policeman.

Bismark was rushed to Kasoa polyclinic for treatment but died whiles receiving treatment.

The policeman who is said to have sustained minor injuries has been rushed to the Korle Bu Teaching hospital.

‘The policeman stopped Bismark to inspect his papers when a trotro driver approaching them failed brakes running over them,’ Evans Darko told ultimatefmonline.com.

The body has been transferred to Korle Bu mortuary for preservation.
