President Akufo-Addo attends France-Africa Summit in Mali

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, left Ghana on Friday, January 13, 2017 to attend the 27th France-Africa Summit, taking place in Bamako, Mali —his 1st foreign trip as President.

The Summit, which is aimed at enhancing the integration process, collective action and cooperation for the common good of participating countries and their peoples, will bring together Heads of State and Governments from some 30 countries.

He was accompanied by the First Lady, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Ag. Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin said in a statement. The first family are expected to return home on Saturday, January 14, 2017.
