We’ve the human beings to do a good job – Akufo-Addo assures

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says the ministers he has nominated so far are the “type of human beings” needed to turn the fortunes of the country around. The president today named 12 ministers-designate for various portfolios including MP for Okere Dan Botwe, National Women’s Organiser of the NPP Otiko Afisah Djaba and the MP for Abukwa South, Samuel Atta Akyea.

This is in addition to 13 others he recommended to Parliament for approval on Tuesday. Nana Akufo-Addo rode on the back of what his campaign team termed “incompetent administration” under John Mahama to power. The New Patriotic Party consistently accused the presidency of corruption and also exhibiting poor management of the economy.

The President today touted the credentials of the 25 men and women that are going to play critical roles in his government, asserting that these men “fill the bill” in executing promises made to Ghanaians. He also indicated that these ministers are “determined to deliver”. “They (Ghanaians) have to be reassured that they are getting people who are coming to do a good job for them with honesty, passion, integrity and commitment,” President Akufo-Addo reiterated.
