President Akufo-Addo is addressing the nation just two days after his investiture. The President officially took over presidency after he was sworn in by the Chief Justice at his inauguration ceremony Saturday January 7.
He began his Presidential duties today by first inspecting and supervising the change of Guard mounted by the Ghana Armed Forces at a short ceremony at the Golden Jubilee house. Shortly after the inspection, he was ushered into his office followed by a brief meeting with staff at the Presidency.
