Mahama’s SONA in pictures

President John Dramani Mahama on Thursday, January, 5 2017, delivered what is now his last State of the Nation Address as he hands -over the baton of leadership to the NPP’s Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in a few hours time.

The President, in a rather brief address to the nation highlighted his achievements during his four-year tenure, describing his effort as ‘the best I could offer the nation.’

He explained that history will be the judge of his role in the country’s governance process with time.

President Mahama also urged Ghanaians to unite behind the incoming Akufo-Addo government and offer the incoming president the needed support in order to succeed in his new role as president.
