The Executives of the Ghana Chapter of Women in Leadership International (WILI) paid a courtesy call on one of its members, the 2nd Lady-Elect, Mrs. Samira Bawumia to congratulate her for the victory in the just ended elections.
They seized the opportunity to show appreciation to Mrs. Bawumia for her unwavering support to the organization, and on the part of the WILI, to express their delight in one of their members becoming a prominent political figure in the country.
“Ghana voted Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo as the next president of the 4th republic in the just ended December polls, automatically making his vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia the vice president elect. This means that Mrs. Samira Bawumia is the 2nd lady elect of the republic of Ghana”, they updated their social media page.
