A heartless mother has killed her own son in order to pave way for her to marry her returnee Libyan burger.
The woman who got pregnant and gave birth while her secret lover was seeking greener pastures in the Arabic country, has been uncovered for engaging in the dastardly act.
The nine-month old baby was suspected to have been dumped at a refuse site at Miremano in the Brong Ahafo about 4:30am Friday.
According to an eyewitness, the baby who was buried live in a hole was pulled out by suspected dogs which fed on one of its legs.
Speaking with Ultimatefmonline.com via phone, a resident in the area, Osofo Prince Charles explained that one of the residents saw the dead baby at the dumpsite when he visited the place to ease himself.
According to him, the mother of the baby identified as Ataa was fished out after a head count of pregnant women in the small village where indigenes know themselves.
‘The whole community is still in shock, she got pregnant for her secret lover without the knowledge of his boyfriend who had travelled to Libya, so to avoid losing the Libyan boyfriend as well as being disgraced, she opted to do away with the new baby. The eyewitness raised alarm when he saw the dead baby,’ he explained.
