Customs denies theft of vehicles from Tema harbour

The Customs division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has denied media reports that “unusual numbers of confiscated vehicles are being removed from the Tema Port.”

Addressing a press conference in Tema, Mr Confidence Nyadzi, Sector Commander, said,”I wish to state that this information is inaccurate. Official data in the GCMS system indicates that this allegations is without basis.”

He called on the general public to disregard such rumours and advised media practitioners to contact his office on any issue related to custom operations before publishing.
