Akufo-Addo, Bawumia to offer thanksgiving prayers at Central Mosque

The mood is peaceful as several expectant Ghanaians await the arrival of the President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo and his entourage at the Central mosque at Abossey Okai.

Nana Akufo-Addo together with some party executives will be visiting the National mosque in Accra today to offer prayers at a thanksgiving service following the NPP’s massive win in the December 7 elections.

Vice President-elect Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and several leading members of the NPP will be at the event expected to begin around 12:30pm.

Chief Imam, Dr. Nuhu Sharubutu, will be leading the congregation at the service.

The inter-denominational thanksgiving service themed “Psalm 20 vs 5 follows Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
