The Electoral Commission yesterday declared NPP’s Nana Akufo-Addo as Ghana’s fifth leader of the fourth Republic following a series of events that characterized the election period.
Multi TV’s current affairs and analysis programme Newsfile today focused on issues surrounding the December 7 elections; events that occurred before, during and after, the eventual concession of President Mahama and the official declaration of election results by the Electoral Commission.
An analysis of President Mahama’s concession speech, as well as President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo’s victory speech was also done.
