Election 2016: My account was hacked – Sam George

The MP-elect for the Ningo-Prampram constituency Samuel George Nartey has denied knowledge of any message sent from his Facebook page to congratulate NPP Flagbearer Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo for winning the December elections.

The following congratulatory message was posted on the NDC member’s Facebook page on Friday.

But Sam George in a quick response said his Facebook account has been hacked, and therefore he is not responsible for the message on the page.

Nana Akufo-Addo has been projected to win the 2016 Presidential election although the Electoral Commission has not yet declared the results of the polls.

Sam George beat one of Ghana’s longest serving MPs, Enoch Teye Mensah to emerge as the candidate for the Ningo-Prampram constituency and eventually beat his closest opponent in the parliamentary elections with 10272 votes.
