TRENDING: #SpecialVoting

Day 2 of the Electoral Commission’s special voting exercise has, like the first, been fraught with complaints from several participants who accuse the EC of failing to rectify anomalies identified during the first phase of the exercise last Thursday.

The Electoral Commission announced on Friday its decision to hold another special voting exercise on Sunday, December 4, 2016, following complaints of missing names in the provided register by a number of participants. The Commission assured that the identified challenges would be worked on in order not to disenfranchise eligible voters but it appears not much work was done about the several concerns raised.

On social media, scores of Ghanaians have been reacting to the outburst of complaints and challenges that have fraught the 2nd day of the special voting exercise.
