PLAYBACK: ‘Newsfile’ on JoyNews, Saturday December 3, 2016

With just three days to the general elections in Ghana, issues relating to the election process as well as challenges that marred last Thursday’s special voting exercise dominated the discussions on Multi TV’s News analysis programme, Newsfile.

Representatives from the Ghana Police Service, the Electoral Commission as well as civil society debated on the best path for a successful December 7 process bearing in mind the identified loopholes in last Thursday’s exercise.

In the second segment of this week’s show, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, Atik Mohammed, Peter Mac Manu and Felix Kwakye Ofosu focused on issues such as the president’s alleged bribery attempt on the NPP’s Northern Regional chairman, Daniel Bugri Naabu and a court ruling clearing Tsatsu Tsikata of charges of causing financial loss to the state.
