Youth urged to be truthful

Adansi-Atobiase (Ash), Jan 13, GNA – The Rev. Fr Francis Stephen Ampomah, assistant parish priest of the New Edubiase Catholic Church, has urged the youth to be truthful at all times in order to strengthen their relationship with God.

He said peace, unity and development in every community could be achieved in an atmosphere of love, truth and harmony. Rev. Fr Ampomah was speaking at the first anniversary celebration of the Saint Paul’s Catholic Youth Organisation (CYO) at Adansi-Atobiase on Sunday.

He said it was unfortunate that some Christians hide the truth for money and power.

Rev Fr Ampomah therefore, urged politicians, especially the Christians among them to proclaim the truth to their followers at all times.

He advised the youth in the church to have a vision and guard themselves against social vices that are rampant in the society. Nana Augustine Kwame Antwi, Krontihene of Atobiase, who chaired the function, advised the youth to lead decent lifestyles. He advised the students among them to take their studies seriously to become responsible citizens in the future.
