Water Board donates plastic containers for waste disposal

Bechem (B/A) Jan 12, GNA- The Bechem Water Board, charged with the regular supply of water as well as providing proper sanitation in Tano district in Brong Ahafo, has donated five big plastic containers valued more than five million cedis for rubbish disposal in the town.

Chief Inspector Osei Bonsu (rtd), Chairman of the nine-member Board, presented the items to the Bechem Town Council at the Council’s first general meeting this year at the weekend. Receiving the items, Evangelist David Thomas Aboagye-Mensah, Chairman of the Council commended the Board for making judicious use of their funds.

He called on the Assembly and Unit Committee members to ensure that the people did not misuse the containers.
