PPP has the men to govern Ghana – Nduom

Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, flag bearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), has refuted assertions that the party lacks the men to help him govern if he is elected president in the 7 December polls.

Speaking on Ghana Yensom on Accra100.5FM on Wednesday 23 November, Dr Nduom said unlike the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) that appointed inexperienced people into government, the PPP has accomplished men to help govern the country.

“PPP has the men with experience and not like the inexperienced people the NDC brought into government. We have Felix William Ograh, [who] is into real estate management and a lawyer and also a chartered accountant with 15 years of experience.

He has [also] worked at the energy sector and is PPP’s national treasurer. We also have Ladi Nylander, who worked with an international company and was the CEO for central and western Africa.

He produces Village Fresh Alata Samina, he is in charge of our trade and policies. Kofi Asamoah Siaw is a banker – he is in charge of 1200 employees in banking in Ghana and holds a master’s degree,” Dr Nduom told show host Chief Jerry Forson.

He added: “Apart from our own people, we have said we stand for inclusive administration, whether a person is coming from the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) or NDC, if only he has the expertise to help build Ghana, he will be part of the 40 ministers [in the PPP government] in the interest of the country.”
