NDP executive confirmed dead in Nana Konadu’s convoy accident

The Offinso Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDP) Isaac Mensah Afedzi has been confirmed dead in the convoy of the presidential nominee of the party Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings on the Techiman highways in the Brong Ahafo.

The Offinso North constituency chairman died on the spot when the vehicle he was on board heading from Techiman to Kumasi in the Ashanti region collided head on with an oncoming vehicle.

Eight other persons sustained various degrees of injuries and are currently receiving treatment at the Holy Family Hospital in Techiman.

Mrs Rawlings who escaped unhurt has proceeded on her campaign tour to the Western region.

Family of the deceased has since been notified of his unfortunate demise.

Checks by ultimatefmonline.com, revealed he left behind a wife and about four children.
