Mrs Adu Boahen laid to rest

The deceased wife of 1992 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Professor Albert Adu Boahen has been laid to rest.

Mrs. Adu Boahen who died in October 2016 was 90 years old.

She was laid to rest over the weekend with bigwigs of the New Patriotic Party, which her husband served until his death, were in attendance including current flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo and former President John Agyekum Kufuor, to give her a befitting burial.

National Democratic Congress founder and former president of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings, was also present to mourn with the family.
