Two feared dead as Police clash with galamsey operators at Asamama

Two people alleged to be illegal miners are feared dead in an anti galamsey operation in Asamama near Anyinam in the Eastern Region.

It follows a police swoop organized to halt the activities of the miners in the area.

The region has become a hotbed of galamsey activities leading to the pollution of water bodies there.
