Ghana Armed Forces now has Brigadier General

Accra, Jan. 6, GNA- The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has given a new designation for the rank of Brigadier, which is now to be known as Brigadier General

A statement issued by the Public Relations Directorate of the GAF on Tuesday said the new designation affects only the Army.

It said the equivalent ranks for the Navy and Airforce- Commodore (Cdre) and Air Commodore (Air Cdre)- remained the same.
