Ghanaians will give Mahama a 2nd term – Ato Sarpong

The Deputy Minister for Communications Ato Sarpong, has anticipated that Ghanaians will show appreciation to the President John Mahama for flooding the country with developmental projects.

He said the projects within his four year-term has changed the face of Ghana and that Ghanaians will vote massively for his re-election.

According to him, the President has solved most of the major problems Ghanaians were faced with.

‘The campaign so far has been an eye opening and insightful, and from what we have been gathering from the grounds in our interactions with the people and chiefs, whether in town hall meetings, mini rallies or door-door encounters that we have been, its quite clear that H.E President John Dramani will be given a second term in office.

So we believe sincerely, deep down in our hearts that based on the work that we have done, the people of this country will appreciate the efforts of President Mahama and give him a second term to complete what he started,’ he envisaged.

Commenting on the newly inaugurated Kwame Nkrumah Interchange on Ultimate Breakfast Show hosted by Lantam Papanko, he explained that government spent 74 million euros adding that the contractors and engineers confirmed that the price was a fixed sum.

‘We got too much value for money, the project will last for twenty years before we can carry out any upgrade or maintenance, successive governments could not solve the circle traffic problem but President Mahama has been able to solve it,’ he said.

Mr Sarpong is part of the speakers for Ultimate 106.9FM’s public forum dubbed ‘The Leader Ghana Deserves’ which will take place at the Faculty of Law Auditorium, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) today at 4:pm.
