The National Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), as part of its ?nal round of campaign, will tomorrow, Sunday November 13, 2016, hold its ?rst national youth rally.
The rally, dubbed ‘The Ghana Youth Rally’ will be held at the Moree D/A Basic School Park in the Central Region.
According to Sammi Awuku, National Youth Organiser of the NPP, the event, which is themed: ‘Change! Your Vote, Your Future’, forms part of activities of the National Youth Wing to “interact and engage with the teeming youth of the country whose living conditions have worsened under the NDC government in the past eight years”.
He added: “The rally will also serve as a platform to highlight and re-echo the party’s youth agenda and the commitment of its ?ag bearer, Nana Akufo-Addo, to the youth of this country.”
The guest of honour for the event will be Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP vice-presidential candidate for the 2016 general elections.
Other speakers will include the leadership of the NPP Youth Wing, party stalwarts, Members of Parliament, young parliamentary candidates, youth activists, members of the creative arts industry, and representatives of volunteer and other identi?able youth groups.
