George Andah is a ‘foolish boy’ – Allotey Jacobs

Central Regional Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Allotey Jacobs has labeled the NPP parliamentary candidate for Awutu Senya West constituency, George Andah as a “foolish boy”.

He refused to retract his invective despite the host of NEAT FM’s morning show, Kwasi Aboagye’s promptings saying his choice of words albeit strong, were in retaliation to George Andah’s attack on Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Hanna Tetteh who is the sitting MP and parliament candidate for the NDC in the constituency.

George Andah is reported to have verbally attacked the person of Hon. Hanna Tetteh asking her to make public her husband to the constituency.

Some argue Mr. Andah’s comments were in bad taste and disrespectful to divorcees, but he has refused to say sorry to the incumbent MP whom he is campaigning to kick out from office.

Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show dubbed ‘Ghana Montie’, Allotey Jacobs noted that Andah’s overhype by the media has made him a “rabble-rouser”.

“It is impossible for him [George Andah] to win that constituency. His comment about Hanna Tetteh is very appalling. As a young enterprising man, we don’t want to destroy him. We will tell him in the face if he misbehaves,” he said.

“ . . If he will go to that extent to attack Hanna Tetteh, then we will face him. Andah has no respect for single mothers.”

“George Andah is a foolish boy, he is a foolish boy. I don’t expect him to attack Hanna Tetteh, saying those things doesn’t mean he [Andah] is tough. He is a foolish boy,” he angrily said.
